Broforce gives gamers the chance to play as action heroes from the 80s and 90s. There is a full cast of characters to choose from, each of which comes complete with their own strengths and weaknesses as well as quirky personality traits. Players are tasked with waging a war against terror and using all the weapons at their disposal to make the bad guys shake in their combat boots.

On the face of things, Broforce is very much a run and gun shooter. However, the game’s reactive environments encourage strategic play that can be as much fun as actually shooting the enemy. Just about all elements of the landscapes are destructible and blowing them up at exactly the right time can provide players with strong tactical advantages as well as a lot of satisfaction.

Mastering the special abilities that each of the bros is given adds an extra dimension to the game and helps to ensure that gamers keep on playing. However, even skilled players may find that death comes when they least expect it and often for completely random reasons. The enemy tends to be rather incompetent though, which stops the game from being too challenging.

As you would expect from this type of game, the challenges get tougher as players progress through the game. There are lots of cool levels to complete and lots of new things to discover. However, some of the upper levels feel like they are almost impossible to complete, which may be a bit frustrating for some players.

Fans of action films in all their cheesy glory and are sure to have a lot of fun playing Broforce. This game is all about action with big explosions and plenty of machismo thrown into the mix. Although there are a few bugs in the game, the super smooth graphics and controls more than make up for them.
